Replaced a Dometic 13500btu with a Truma Aventa 13500btu. It cools like you are in a meat locker and it is guiet. 3 fan speeds, and quiet inside and out. It runs off a remote. There are only a few places you can get them installed after market. Texas, Phoenix, Florida, and Elkhart Indiana.

RE: 12 volt fridge in TT
We have a Nova Kool 12volt in our class B motorhome. It runs just off battery power, in our case an AGM 330 ah. As long as we keep enough juice in the battery it works fine. Being plugged in to shore power all the time it should keep plenty of charge in your 12 volt system.
